This one's a bit of a regular for me, that Llangollen valley spot not far from home. I've seen it in all sorts of conditions, through every season, and it always offers up something different. I was back up there recently, just taking a walk, and the whole place was looking particularly green after some rain. The clouds were putting on a bit of a show too, rolling over the hills, which always makes for a bit of atmosphere. Ended up with this panoramic view, the valley stretching out, all those woodlands and the familiar fence with its stile in the foreground. Sometimes the best shots are the ones you don't even plan, just a familiar place doing its thing.
