Print Specifications

Updated May 2026 — now printed on premium 240gsm lustre for sharper detail and richer colour reproduction.

Archival giclée on premium 240gsm lustre photo paper — satin finish, pigment inks, designed to last generations.

Materials

  • Paper: Premium 240gsm lustre photo paper — bright white, archival, rated for 100+ years displayed indoors
  • Finish: Satin lustre — subtle pearl texture, deep blacks, vivid colour, low glare under glass
  • Ink: Pigment-based archival inks via 12-colour giclée process
  • Border: Proportional white border printed around the image (roughly 1–7cm depending on size) — gives a gallery-mat look and drops straight into a standard frame
  • Colour accuracy: Reproduces up to 98% of the Pantone gamut

Sizes & format

  • Standard sizes from A4 (8.3×11.7″) up to A0 (33×46.8″), plus 25+ inch sizes from 8×12″ to 40×60″
  • Panoramic sizes available for 16:9, 2:1 and wider photographs (16×32″, 20×36″, 22×40″, 12×36″)
  • Built-in proportional white border on every print — ready to slide into a frame with no additional matting needed
  • Shipped flat (A4 and smaller) or rolled in a rigid protective tube

Why unframed? Your local framer can match the moulding to your room, choose archival mat colours that suit the print, and have it on your wall in a week or two — for less than international framed shipping. See framing tips for our recommended specifications.

Care & Display

Handling

Handle by the borders or corners — fingerprints can mark the surface before it's behind glass

Sunlight

Avoid direct sunlight to preserve colours over time

Placement

Hang away from heat sources and high-humidity areas

Storage

Keep flat or in the shipping tube until you frame it; UV-filtering glazing protects long-term

Editions

All works are open edition unless noted. Every print is made to order — there's no fixed run, and the file is archived once you buy. Any future limited-edition releases will be signed, numbered, and sit in their own collection so the distinction is clear from the first glance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my print last?
Our prints use pigment-based archival inks rated for over 100 years lightfast displayed indoors. Your print will hold its colour for generations when kept away from direct sunlight.
What size should I choose?
Use our wall preview tool on any photo page to see how different sizes look in a real room setting. Listed sizes are the outer paper dimensions — the photograph sits inset within a proportional white border, so a larger print carries a wider mat and a smaller print a tighter one.
Can I return a print?
Yes, within 30 days. See our returns policy for details.
Why don’t you sell framed prints?
Custom framing is best done locally — your local framer can match the moulding to your space, choose archival mat colours that complement the print, and get it on your wall in a week or two. We ship unframed in a protective tube so you can take it straight to a framer of your choice. See our framing tips for our recommended specifications.
What if my print arrives damaged?
We’ll replace it free of charge. Contact us at hello@rhyswyles.com with a photo of the damage.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship to 30 countries across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe, North America, East Asia, the Middle East and South Africa via Prodigi’s global lab network. Each order is auto-routed to the lab nearest your address, so Australian customers receive Australian-fulfilled prints in 3–5 business days, and most international destinations arrive in 3–10 business days (longer windows apply to the Middle East and South Africa). Panoramic sizes (16:9, 2:1, and wider) are produced at our UK atelier and shipped via DHL Express worldwide. See the Shipping & Packaging section above for the full per-region breakdown.
Are taxes or duties added at checkout?
Prices are shown in your local currency where supported, and in Australian Dollars (AUD) otherwise. Wyles in the Wild is not currently GST-registered, so no GST is added at checkout. Most prints are produced in a facility local to your region with no border crossing — but panoramic sizes ship from the UK, and import duties or local sales tax may apply depending on where you live. Couriers occasionally collect these on delivery.
