Travelling from Bergen to Flam, we were on one of those classic Norwegian fjord trips by ship, which, as you can imagine, is pretty much wall-to-wall impressive scenery. But sometimes it’s the light that really makes the difference. Caught this one just as the sun was hitting the trees and some of the brightly coloured buildings along the water, really adding some pop to the whole scene. This little shed, sitting there on a green bank with the autumn forest behind it and those big cliffs, just looked perfectly serene. Makes you wonder if anyone actually lives there, or if it’s just a very scenic place to store a kayak. Either way, a pretty tranquil moment on the water.
