Traveling down to South Wales to see some friends, we figured we'd break up the drive and stopped off at this waterfall trail near Glynneath. It was one of those spots where the path just opens up into something a bit unexpected, a proper woodland scene. This waterfall, the Elidir trail one, was just doing its thing, spilling into a dark pool. All that lush green foliage and the rocks made it feel pretty tucked away. Not a bad way to stretch the legs before catching up with everyone.
