Visiting Port Stephens with the family, the Point Stephens lighthouse was definitely on the list to see up close. The walk out to it looked decent enough, but we weren't keen on chancing the tides and getting stuck out there, which is always a bit of a gamble with those causeways. Still wanted a proper look though, so the drone ended up doing the legwork. Sent it out over the water to get a better perspective. Caught the lighthouse standing tall on its own, a lush green patch against the rugged coastline and that vibrant blue ocean. Gives you a good sense of how isolated it really is, especially from above, without having to time your walk perfectly or risk a soggy return.
