Living in Sydney, I was down at Bondi with the drone again, one of the first times really getting it out over the ocean. Still not quite comfortable with how far I could push it, but just looking for anything interesting, to be honest. That’s when I spotted these canoers. They were really going for it, all seven of them in their bright surf skis, racing across the darker water. Noticed how focused they all were, and the dynamic lines they created. Figured it’d make for a good action shot from above, so quickly got the drone into position to catch them mid-stroke before they disappeared.
