I went out on a day trip not too far from home, mostly just hunting for a few waterfalls I hadn't managed to get to yet. Turns out Llanwrst in Wales had this one, Grey Mare's Tails, which was a bit of a surprise I hadn't stumbled on it previously. It’s a proper green spot, with two waterfalls dropping down a rocky, moss-covered cliff face, and a rocky stream running out front. The whole woodland area was lush, making for a decent afternoon out, and a good reminder of what’s right on your doorstep.
