Living in Dubai, you sometimes need a proper escape, so a sunrise trip to the wadis of Ras Al Khaimah felt about right. Headed out to Wadi Ghalilah, got there in the dark, and just waited for the show. The sun eventually started to appear over the rugged peaks around Jebel Jais, slowly spilling its light down into the valley, cutting through the morning haze. Caught this one just as the golden beams lit up that small, remote farm. The tree in the foreground made a nice frame for it all, giving a bit of scale to the quiet, ancient beauty of the place. Definitely worth the early alarm.
