Heading up to Dinas Bran Castle is a bit of a routine for me, one of those spots near home I find myself at in all seasons. Each visit offers a different take on the Llangollen valley, but there's something about a good sunset up there that always makes the short drive worth it. This particular evening, the light was just doing its thing as the sun dipped, throwing a decent amount of warm glow across the landscape. The old castle on the hill really caught it, standing out against the fading sky. It was one of those moments where everything lines up, and you’re reminded why this place is a regular haunt.
