Hiking the Tre Cime circular trail, which, let's be honest, felt a bit more like a slog than a leisurely stroll with all the camera gear on my back. Still, you keep an eye out, don't you? Spotted this small, unassuming pond off the main path and thought, 'Worth a quick detour.' Figured there might be some reflections if the conditions were right. Turns out, they were. The air was surprisingly still, giving the water a mirror-like quality that doesn't always happen up in the mountains. Ended up with the Tre Cime peaks perfectly mirrored, making the earlier struggle with the pack feel a bit more justified. Sometimes, it's the unplanned detours that pay off.
