We were travelling down to South Wales to see some friends, and on the way, we decided to stop off at the Elidir trail in Glynneath. It’s a proper woodland walk, full of these little waterfalls tumbling down over rocks that are just covered in moss. Everything felt pretty green and damp, the kind of place where the air just hangs heavy with the smell of wet earth and leaves. With all that water moving, it seemed like a good opportunity to try a long exposure, just to see what the cascades would do. Ended up with this, the water looking a bit like silk over the dark rocks. A decent break from the drive, all told.
