I was out for a local walk in Llangollen, making my way along the paths that wind underneath the Eglwyseg limestone escarpment. It was one of those days where the light was doing interesting things, pushing through the dense pine canopy in shafts. Up ahead, I saw someone walking along the trail, perfectly framed in a patch of sun and shadow. It was a good moment, the kind that just presents itself when you're not really looking for it, just enjoying the quiet of the woods. Snapped a quick one before carrying on, knowing there was a cold beer waiting at the pub once I was done. Always a good motivator for getting the miles in.
