On a long weekend trip to Bowral, we were just driving around, taking in the Southern Highlands scenery. Ended up crossing these old train tracks and had to pull over. The autumnal colours were really putting on a show, all those reds and yellows against a pretty clear blue sky. Not something you expect to just stumble upon, but glad we did. Caught this one just as the light was hitting the trees, really bringing out those colours. Sometimes the best shots are the ones you don't plan for, just a quick stop on the way to wherever we were going next.
