While we were living in Esbjerg, Denmark, we often found ourselves heading out to the local deer sanctuary for a walk in the woods. Turns out, the deer there are pretty chill, not easily spooked. All those frequent visitors, probably handing out snacks, have made them quite tame. On this particular day, the light was doing some interesting things, filtering through the trees, creating those dappled patterns on the forest floor. Ended up spotting this fallow deer just standing there, pretty much posing, looking straight at us. Didn't seem too bothered by the camera, which always helps. Just one of those quiet moments you stumble upon when you're out for a bit of fresh air, a deer just doing its thing in its element.
