Visiting family in Sydney, I often find myself drawn to the impressive waterfalls within easy travelling distance, so a trip to the Southern Highlands was on the cards. Ended up at Fitzroy Falls, which truly lives up to its reputation. It’s a proper drop, the water just thundering over a dramatic cliff face, and with all the spray, the surrounding forest was incredibly lush and vibrant green. Caught this one just as the mist was rolling in, giving it that powerful, serene feel you only get from a big waterfall.
