How to frame your print

Our prints ship unframed in a protective tube on premium 240gsm lustre photo paper — satin finish, archival pigment inks. We recommend a 2.5cm white archival mat, acid-free backing, and UV-filtering glazing.

Living in Esbjerg for a couple of years, we did our utmost to explore at weekends, which often meant heading somewhere nearby and easy. Hjerting was usually top of the list for that reason. This particular trip was in the depths of winter, so the beach wasn't exactly a sunbathing spot – instead, it was covered in a decent layer of snow, making for a pretty stark, but interesting, landscape. The Wadden Sea always has a certain mood to it, and with the low clouds, it felt even more pronounced. We spotted this art installation of wooden posts standing out against the white, a bit of unexpected structure in all that open space. It just worked, giving you something to frame up against the horizon.
