Getting the family up early on a weekend is always a bit of a negotiation, especially when the destination is a sunrise. But down at Cronulla, it's usually worth the effort. The idea was just to get out and enjoy the morning, maybe grab some breakfast after the light show. Ended up on the rocky shore, and the sky really started to put on a show just as the sun broke. Caught this one of a lone figure, just sitting there, taking it all in, with the waves doing their usual thing as the golden light hit the horizon. Always appreciate those quiet moments before the beach gets busy, makes the early alarm feel less like a chore.
