More framing tips → A downturn in workload from my day job finally allowed us to spend some time in the north east of England, which was a welcome change of pace. We were exploring the North Pennines, making the most of the unexpected break, when we ended up at Low Force waterfall. The sky was pretty cloudy that day, not exactly the bright sunshine you sometimes hope for, but it actually lent itself well to the long exposure I had in mind. Watching the water cascade over those rocky steps, it felt like a good way to slow things down, both literally with the camera and just generally. It’s a nice spot, even with a bit of grey overhead.
