Needed a break from Dubai, so headed out on a sunrise trip to the wadis of Ras Al Khaimah. Got there well before dawn, just waiting for the sun to appear over the Jebel Jais peaks and start spilling light into the valley. Ended up catching this scene as the warm light began to cut through the morning haze. The ruined herders hut and that gnarled desert tree just sat perfectly in the foreground, giving some scale to those repeating layers of mountain ridges stretching out into the distance. Sometimes the conditions just line up.
