On a road trip around Oman, we ended up venturing into the hills of Jebel Akhdar, high above Nizwah. Turns out, some 5* hotel decided to put a massage facility right on the cliff edge up there. Pretty clever, if you ask me, especially for the views they get. That spot, with its dramatic drop-offs and rugged peaks, was just begging for a sunset shot, really. Caught this one as the light started to fade, those sunbeams cutting through the valleys like a spotlight, illuminating the whole scene. A pretty decent way to end the day, watching the light play across those ancient mountains. Made the whole drive up worth it, just for that bit of drama.
