How to frame your print

Our prints ship unframed in a protective tube on premium 240gsm lustre photo paper — satin finish, archival pigment inks. We recommend a 2.5cm white archival mat, acid-free backing, and UV-filtering glazing.

Your local framer can replicate the look in the wall preview above. Typical frame and matting cost is A$120–A$200 depending on size.

Living close to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, I’ve wanted to see if I could get it in silhouette with the sun rays coming off it. This morning, the mist was hanging over the River Dee below, so I headed out while the conditions were doing their thing. The aqueduct was dark against the light, with the river partly hidden by the mist underneath. It’s a familiar sight when you’re nearby, but the changing light gives you a reason to stop and look again. I was after the silhouette and rays; the mist over the Dee was an extra bit of luck. No grand plan beyond getting there at the right time, which is usually how these things go.
