Headed over the St Gottard Pass, making our way from Germany into Italy. Figured we'd pull over at the top, grab a few shots of these cairns. You know the ones, stacks of rocks left by everyone who's passed through here. Still not quite sure what the official rule is on adding your own, but there were plenty already. The clouds were doing their moody thing that day, hanging low and hiding most of the bigger peaks. Made for a pretty decent backdrop, all that mist and cloud giving the place a bit of a mysterious vibe. A quiet stop before hitting the Italian side.
