A bit of a lull in the day job finally meant we could get ourselves up to the North East of England for a bit. We were keen to explore, and ended up stopping by High Force waterfall near Barnard Castle. It’s a proper cascade over some rugged cliffs in the North Pennines, and there were a few people just taking it easy on the rocky riverbank. Pretty good spot to just sit and watch the water do its thing, especially after being stuck behind a desk for so long.
