How to frame your print

Our prints ship unframed in a protective tube on premium 240gsm lustre photo paper — satin finish, archival pigment inks. We recommend a 2.5cm white archival mat, acid-free backing, and UV-filtering glazing.

Your local framer can replicate the look in the wall preview above. Typical frame and matting cost is A$120–A$200 depending on size.

Visiting family near Aylesbury, UK, I rarely leave the camera at home. Had Coombe Hill on the list, expecting some decent wide vistas from up there. Turns out the weather had other plans for us that day, though. Instead of those sweeping views, we got thick, low cloud and a proper winter fog rolling in, which pretty much put an end to any colourful landscape ideas. Ended up leaning into the moodiness, though, deciding black and white atmospheric shots were definitely in order. Caught this grove of bare trees just as they were starting to disappear, standing there, almost silhouetted against all that haze. Sometimes the unexpected conditions give you a completely different, but arguably better, shot than what you planned for.
