Visiting Rhys in Sydney, we figured it was time to finally see the Blue Mountains for ourselves, having heard plenty about them from everyone. Ended up taking the trip out there, not really knowing what to expect beyond some big hills and a lot of blue. Caught this one of the Three Sisters, which are pretty much what everyone goes to see, framed by all the usual native greenery. The distant mountains were pretty hazy that day, giving everything a bit of a vast, misty feel, which I thought worked pretty well. Made for a serene view, certainly lived up to the hype for a day trip out of the city.
