More framing tips → A bit of a lull in the day job finally gave us the chance to spend some time up in the north east of England, which had been on the cards for a while. We were just exploring around Barnard Castle, taking our time, and ended up finding Gibson's Cave. The waterfall there was quite something, really, dropping into a pool that had this distinct reddish-brown colour, all framed by the deep green of the trees and mossy rocks. It was one of those spots that just begged for a bit of patience and a long exposure, so I set up to smooth out the water a bit and really bring out that contrast between the movement and the stillness of the surroundings.
