Cloudy morning over Lake Como

On an epic roadmap from Denmark to Tuscany and back, we were definitely ready for a proper stop by the time we hit Lake Como on the return leg. Woke up to a cloudy morning, not the usual bright sunshine you might expect, but it certainly lent a different atmosphere to the place. Ended up catching this view just as the light was starting to properly hit the water, illuminating the small town tucked along the shore. The clouds hung low and heavy over the mountains, giving everything a quiet, almost contemplative feel. Sometimes those less-than-ideal conditions actually make for something a bit more interesting, especially when you're just passing through and taking what you get. A nice, calm moment before we had to pack up and get back on the road.
