Passing through Ullapool, Scotland, I was on my way to check out the main falls when I stumbled across this little beauty. It was just off the trail, a smaller cascade tucked away, but the way the water flowed over the rocks, surrounded by all that seriously lush green foliage, really caught my eye. You get that kind of vibrant moss and ferns in Scotland, almost glowing in the damp air. I decided to pull out the gear and set up for a long exposure. It felt like the right move to really smooth out the water and show off the movement against the static, ancient-looking rocks. Sometimes the smaller, unexpected finds are the ones that stick with you.
