Living in Esbjerg, Denmark, for a couple of years meant the dockside became a pretty familiar spot, especially as the day wound down. Always found myself heading out there at sunset, just to catch the view towards Fano Island. The light out there is usually something else, but those wind turbines always presented a bit of a challenge. Wanted to get that calm, reflective water you only really get with a long exposure, but still needed the turbine blades to actually look like turbine blades, not just a blurry mess. This one ended up being a blend, a long exposure mixed with a normal shot to get the best of both. Caught it just as the sky was really putting on a show, all fiery oranges and reds, with the sea just mirroring it perfectly. Pretty serene, all things considered.
