Heading north from Bergen on the fjord cruise part of our Norway trip, we pulled into a spot where most people headed off for a shore excursion. Decided to stay onboard instead, figuring it was a good opportunity to capture some of the surrounding scenery without the usual hustle and bustle. Caught this view as the ship sat still, with the early autumn light hitting the snow-capped mountains just right. Down below, the village looked pretty peaceful nestled by the water, and you could see the autumn foliage starting to really show its colours. Had that quiet, still feel to it, just the way you imagine a Norwegian fjord would be.
