We ended up on a last-minute weekend trip to Anglesey, after a friend suggested a campsite near Cemaes. Sometimes you just need to get away for a bit, and a recommendation is as good a reason as any to pack the camper van. We found ourselves down at Cemaes Bay harbour, where the boats were just sitting quietly, moored up for the day. The tide was out, leaving a decent stretch of sandy beach in the foreground, with the usual coastal houses dotted along the shore. It was a pretty low-key afternoon, the kind where you just watch the water and let things slow down. Perfect for a quick escape, and a good reminder that sometimes the best shots happen when you're not really looking for them.
