How to frame your print

Our prints ship unframed in a protective tube on premium 240gsm lustre photo paper — satin finish, archival pigment inks. We recommend a 2.5cm white archival mat, acid-free backing, and UV-filtering glazing.

Your local framer can replicate the look in the wall preview above. Typical frame and matting cost is A$120–A$200 depending on size.

We were making our way around Iceland on an anti-clockwise tour of the popular sites when we stopped at Goðafoss. It was a good excuse to get out of the car and spend a bit of time by the river, rather than just ticking off another stop and moving on. The waterfall runs wide through the rocky ground, with snow still streaking the mountains behind it and a cloudy blue sky overhead. Spring hadn’t cleared the winter look from the landscape yet, which suited the place just fine. I spent a while looking for a view that kept the river, rocks and mountains together without making a fuss of any one part. A solid stop on the route, and a reminder that Iceland is quite good at making a roadside break last longer than planned.
