How to frame your print

Our prints ship unframed in a protective tube on premium 240gsm lustre photo paper — satin finish, archival pigment inks. We recommend a 2.5cm white archival mat, acid-free backing, and UV-filtering glazing.

Your local framer can replicate the look in the wall preview above. Typical frame and matting cost is A$120–A$200 depending on size.

We took an anti-clockwise tour of Iceland’s tourist sites, and Skógafoss was one of the stops. The water comes over the rocky cliff with enough force to send mist across the stony riverbank. A lone visitor stood below it, quietly providing the scale reference every waterfall photo needs. I found myself watching how small the person looked against the falls, and how the mist softened the scene. That became the point of the frame: the scale of Skógafoss, with someone there to make it plain. No complicated setup or grand plan, just a stop on the route and a good reason to spend a little longer by the riverbank before moving on.
