How to frame your print

Our prints ship unframed in a protective tube on premium 240gsm lustre photo paper — satin finish, archival pigment inks. We recommend a 2.5cm white archival mat, acid-free backing, and UV-filtering glazing.

Your local framer can replicate the look in the wall preview above. Typical frame and matting cost is A$120–A$200 depending on size.

We were on a multi-centre family holiday through Croatia, which meant a fair bit of moving around, but Hvar was definitely one of the places we slowed down a bit. After a few days of the usual tourist spots and bustling waterfronts, I ended up doing what I usually do: wandering off the main drag, ducking into the quieter back alleys of Hvar town. It’s always where you find the interesting stuff, away from the crowds and the gelato queues, where the light changes and things feel a bit more real. This particular alleyway just had that perfect mix of old stone, those classic closed shutters, and a few potted plants adding some unexpected colour. Felt like stepping back a few centuries, and it was a nice change from the bright sunshine out on the waterfront.
