I was staying with friends down near South Cerney Lakes for a bit, which put me in easy reach of the Cotswolds. Decided to make an early start one morning and head over to Bibury, mostly to beat the usual rush of people. Turns out that was a good call. Arlington Row was pretty quiet when I got there, just the light starting to properly hit those historic stone cottages. Without the usual crowds, the place felt a bit more as it should, I suppose. The green of the trees and the river looked sharp in that early light, a nice contrast to the stone. Managed to get a few shots before the place filled up, a quiet start to the day.
