While we were living in Jutland for a few years, my wife booked us into a marina side lodge in what the Danes refer to as 'Fjiordland.' It was a good spot, and the whole area looked very atmospheric in the evening light, especially down at the water. We ended up at Skive marina around sunset, and the conditions were just right. The water in Skive Fjord was completely calm, like glass, and the sailboats moored there were throwing back perfect reflections of their masts and hulls. It was one of those moments where the light just does all the heavy lifting for you, turning a quiet marina into something a bit more interesting.
