Heading north from Bergen on the fjords cruise, we were making our way through some pretty tranquil waters when the sky really started putting on a show. Caught this one just as the sun was setting, with these impressive, layered clouds rolling in which always adds a bit of drama up top. Ended up with a lone fishing boat passing through right at the perfect moment, which was a good bit of luck for some foreground interest. Saved me from having too much empty sea in the shot, so I went with a wider format to get those distant snow-capped mountains and the whole dramatic sky in. Sometimes things just line up like that.
