We ended up on a bit of a last-minute road trip to North-East England, thanks to a sudden lull in the day job. Not exactly planned, but sometimes those are the best ones, aren't they? We found ourselves up in Northumberland, wandering along the coast, and this place, Bamburgh Castle, just sits right on the beach. There were a few people about, enjoying the blue sky and the waves rolling in, and the rocks in the foreground just felt right. It's one of those spots where you can just watch the world go by for a bit, even if you're meant to be working. Good light for a change, too.
