Travelling through the Lofoten Islands on our Norway road trip, you really start to appreciate how much effort went into connecting all these little bits of land. Turns out, all those arched bridges aren't just for show; they're designed in a similar way so the local fishing boats can easily pass underneath, which is pretty clever engineering when you think about it. Ended up pulling over near one of the tranquil bays, with the winding roads snaking across the small islands. The rugged mountains were doing their usual dramatic thing against a cloudy sky, and it just seemed like the right spot to capture that unique coastal vibe. Not quite the clear skies you sometimes hope for, but the clouds definitely added some atmosphere to the whole landscape.
