How to frame your print

Our prints ship unframed in a protective tube on premium 240gsm lustre photo paper — satin finish, archival pigment inks. We recommend a 2.5cm white archival mat, acid-free backing, and UV-filtering glazing.

Your local framer can replicate the look in the wall preview above. Typical frame and matting cost is A$120–A$200 depending on size.

A downturn in workload from my day job finally allowed us to spend some time in the north east of England, which meant we ended up exploring Northumberland for a bit. We made our way to Dunstanburgh Castle, thinking we'd get some classic wide-open views of the coast and ruins. Turns out the sea had other plans, rolling in a thick fog that swallowed a good chunk of the castle. It was one of those odd days where the foreground, a golf course, was sitting clear under a blue sky, but the castle itself was half-hidden in the mist, like it was playing a particularly slow game of hide and seek. Not quite the clear vista we'd pictured, but the fog gave the old ruins a completely different feel, almost a bit mysterious, and definitely worth the detour.
