Dinas Bran castle, that's one of those spots near home I tend to swing by a fair bit. I was up there again recently, like I am in most seasons, just to see what the Llangollen valley was doing as the day started to wrap up. You never quite know what you're going to get with the light up in these Welsh hills, but this evening, it really delivered. The sun was just dipping, painting the sky with some proper vibrant colours, and the castle just stood out, a sharp silhouette against it all. Sometimes you don't need to go far for a decent view, just need to time it right and hope the clouds play along. It’s always a good reminder that the best scenes are often just around the corner.
