Living in Esbjerg for a couple of years meant we made the most of our weekends, always looking for somewhere new to explore. This particular trip saw us heading south to Svendborg, a place I hadn’t seen since my university days, before crossing over to Langeland Island. We ended up at the coast near Hou, where this lighthouse stands guard, just a few houses for company and a field stretching out in front. It was a pretty quiet spot, the kind of place you find yourself just watching the clouds drift by.
