Heading north from Bergen on a fjords cruise, part of our Norway trip, we pulled into a spot for a shore excursion. The others headed off, but I figured the real show was probably out on the water, just watching the scenery unfold. Caught this one of a small village, tucked right onto a peninsula, with all those autumn colours really popping against the snow-capped mountains. The water was pretty calm too, reflecting whatever was happening up in the sky, which always helps. Sometimes the best vantage point is just staying put, letting the landscape come to you.
