Living in Esbjerg meant Ribe was a regular haunt for us, especially when family came to visit. It’s one of those historic towns that always delivers, and this trip, just before Christmas, was no different. We’d woken up to a light dusting of snow, just enough to make everything feel a bit more hushed and festive, without turning into a proper blizzard. Down by Tved Lake, an offshoot of the Ribe river, the swans were out, gliding around near the snow-covered boardwalk. They didn't seem to mind the chill, and with the quiet winter light, it felt like a good moment to pull the camera out.
