Making our way on a round trip from Bergen to Flam, a good chunk of it involved being on a ship, navigating some seriously impressive fjord scenery. You see a lot of it, but sometimes the conditions just line up. Caught this one when the sun finally decided to punch through the clouds, really hitting those autumn trees along the towering cliffs. That's when it all just popped. The colours were something else against the calm, dark water, which was doing a perfect job reflecting the whole dramatic landscape. A pretty tranquil scene, all told, somewhere in the vastness of the Norwegian fjords.
