I have a few of those spots that just feel like home, places I keep coming back to no matter what the weather's doing. Dinas Bran Castle, perched high above Llangollen, is definitely one of them. I'll swing by in all seasons, just to see how the light's hitting it or what kind of mood the valley's in. This particular evening, I was just out for a bit of a wander, and the sky started doing its thing as the sun dropped behind the hills. It cast some decent light rays across the valley, making a pretty clean silhouette of the castle on that distant ridge. Sometimes, the quiet, familiar places just turn it on for you.
