During the road trip part of our Norway adventure, the Lofoten Islands really delivered on the promise of snow-capped peaks above vast fjords. You hear about these places, but seeing it for yourself is something else. Ended up pulling over when the light started doing its thing, just as the sun was breaking through the clouds and hitting the water. These mounded tufts of grass along the shoreline just happened to be right there, making for a handy bit of foreground. Caught this one just as the mountains, still dusted in snow, were catching the last of the light, pretty much summing up the whole trip.
