Ended up at Coogee one evening, just as the sun was starting its proper dip below the horizon, always a good time for some interesting light. The boats were all lined up on the sand, looking like they were waiting patiently for the tide to come back in, and the low angle of the sun was casting some decent shadows. They really gave the sand a bit of texture, which I always look for, adding another layer to the scene. But what really caught my eye, and made me stop for a shot, was this one white boat. It just stood out so clearly against the darker hulls of all the others, creating a nice bit of contrast against the fading light.
